A central ventilation system is a residential ventilation method that continuously and effectively controls ventilation paths.

Fresh air is drawn in from areas with cleaner air and exhausted from polluted areas. Generally, polluted air is exhausted from restrooms and hallways, while fresh air is drawn in from offices and other crowded areas.
